\nThe Ocean County Health Department will be off ering seasonal influenza (flu) vaccines (1 year and above) and the COVID-1 9 vaccine for the 2024-25 season to all residents (6 months and above). Pl ease visit http://www.ochd.org for more information and to register for an appointment\, or call 732-341-9700 x7290. Eligible residents who are 65+ and considered immunocompromised should consider a second dose of the 2024 -25 vaccine 6 months after the last dose as added protection as recommende d by the Centers for Disease Control.

The COVID-19 vaccine is ava ilable for ages 6 months and older\, who have not received the updated 202 4-25 vaccine series. Only one (1) dose of the 2024-25 series is recommende d unless you and your physician have discussed additional vaccination need s. \nPlease be prepared to wait for 15 minutes after your vaccine. If you are taking an antibiotic on the day of your appointm ent\, please reschedule your appointment.
