 ce\, Paul has discovered many "secrets" that everyone can unlock so that t
 aking and sharing photos is &ldquo\;more rewarding and less boring&rdquo\;
 .&nbsp\; In this program\, Paul will share tips on how to proceed from tak
 ing snapshots to producing art that we will be eager to share\, and that p
 eople are anxious to view.&nbsp\; Some of the tips include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li
 >Selecting equipment</li>\n<li>Evaluating locations</li>\n<li>Basic compos
 ition</li>\n<li>Lighting</li>\n<li>Storytelling</li>\n<li>Sharing your pho
 tos</li>\n<li>Etiquette\, and more.&nbsp\;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Paul will also 
 translate the technical language so that concepts such as &ldquo\;depth of
  field\,&rdquo\; "aperture"\, "ASA"\, etc. are easier to understand and ma
 nipulate. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This session will be especially interesting to t
 he new or casual photographer.&nbsp\; Although serious hobby photographers
  will know many of the topics\, it is sometimes useful to be &ldquo\;remin
 ded&rdquo\; of the basics.&nbsp\;</p>\n<hr />\n<p><strong>Paul H Mather</s
 trong></p>\n<p>From school yearbooks to magazines\, calendars\, posters\, 
 websites\, and science\, Paul has seriously pursued&nbsp\;photography for 
 over 60 years!&nbsp\; His&nbsp\;photographs have been featured in "Barrie 
 Today"\, SPCA Calendars\, Georgian Bay Land Trust Posters\, Commercial pos
 ters&nbsp\;and have received&nbsp\;over 6 million views on Google Maps.&nb
 sp\; He has given presentations on storing and restoring family photos\, b
 asic photography\, photography on a shoestring\, and editing photos as wel
 l as other technology and travel related topics.&nbsp\; He is known for hi
 s desire to share what he has learned over the years\, demystifying the ar
 t and science of photography.</p>\n<p>Over the years Paul has focused his 
 attention on nature\, animals\, landscapes\, and architecture.&nbsp\; His 
 travels around the world have provided him with many photographic learning
  opportunities\, challenges and venues.&nbsp\; He prefers to share his wor
 k in person\, in his pictorial blogs and short photo videos\, on his websi
 te and Flicker but is moving towards framed art.</p>\n<p>&ldquo\;Make phot
