 eir self-published and distributed zine "The Northern Mirror" and then dem
 onstrate how to make a zine\, so you can DIY and take it home!</p>\n<p>"Th
 e Northern Mirror" is a collaborative zine which contains local artists' s
 ubmissions to create a rich tapestry of the Fargo/Moorhead area. It has be
 en produced quarterly since 2021. Essays\, poems\, reviews\, photos\, illu
 strations\, and community resources are bound in the zine which is then di
 stributed around the area for free-will donation.</p>\n<p>A zine (pronounc
 ed "zeen") is a self-published\, non-commercial print work usually produce
 d in small\, limited batches. Zines can encompass many topics\, from music
  and art to politics or memoir\, in any form: narrative\, journalistic\, c
 omic\, or abstract. The content may include any combination of words and i
 magery.</p>\n<p>All are welcome to join the presentation and workshop. Ref
