The Mt. Pleasant Library will be closing f or 4-5 months for repair and improvements. During this time\, baby lap time and toddler story time will take place at Rita Bright Family &am p\; Youth Center on 14th and Chapin.

These 20-30 minute s tory times are specially designed for infants from birth until they begin walking\, along with their grown-ups! Participants are introduced to devel opmentally appropriate books\, songs\, rhymes\, tickles\, and bounces in a positive and fun atmosphere. Because Baby Lap Time emphasizes lots of int eraction between the caregiver and the child on their lap\, we recommend t hat each baby have their own grown-up with them.

For the half hour before lap time (12:30-1 pm) a nd the half hour after (1:30-2 pm)\, toys and music will be provided for b abies and caregivers to enjoy an informal play group.
