Is your child curious about playing the piano? This beginner-friendly program is perfect for kids who have never played before and want to learn the basics! We&rs quo\;ll explore the piano keys\, finger placement\, scales\, and how to pl ay with both hands&mdash\;plus\, we&rsquo\;ll learn a simple song.
\nThis program is part of a a series running on Mondays: April 28\, May 5\, 12\, and 26 (there is no program on May 19). Since each session builds on the last\, we ask that you only register if your child can attend all fou r weeks.
\nEach participant will be loaned a WPL keyboard to take ho me for practice and should bring it to class each week. Please note that w hile the instructor is an experienced piano player\, they are not a certif ied teacher.
\nFor kids ages 6 to 9 years old. Please register each child attending.
\nPlease note\, a caregiver must remain in the libr ary while children under 10 years of age attend a program.
\nWe kind ly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program&rsquo\;s specified age requirements.
