BPL and Illinois River Watershed Partnersh ip invite you to join us for a Rain Garden Design Workshop!
\nLe arn how to design\, build\, and maintain a rain garden that manages stormw ater\, supports biodiversity\, and improves water quality. In this hands-o n workshop\, you&rsquo\;ll explore how rain gardens reduce runoff\, filter pollutants\, and enhance soil health. We&rsquo\;ll cover the essentials o f site selection\, construction\, native plant selection\, maintenance str ategies\, and the principles of ecological landscape design.
\nParti cipants will have the opportunity to design their own rain garden with exp ert feedback. The workshop also includes a guided tour of the Bentonville Public Library&rsquo\;s new rain gardens\, showcasing sustainable stormwat er solutions in action. Ideal for homeowners\, gardeners\, and anyone pass ionate about creating beautiful\, functional landscapes that protect local waterways.
