 1950s Brazil\, it follows the doomed love affair of Orfeu and Eurydice aga
 inst the backdrop of the elaborate Carnival festivities. Gracefully artful
  and boldly energetic\, and coloured by an exuberant soundtrack from a cou
 ple of the country&rsquo\;s top composers\, it is a visual cultural feast.
