The Ocean County Health Department will be offering seasonal influenza (flu) vaccines (1 year and above) and the COV ID-19 vaccine for the 2024-25 season to all residents (6 months and above) . Eligible residents who are 65+ and considered immunocompromised should c onsider a second dose of the 2024-25 vaccine 6 months after the last dose as added protection as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.

\nResidents looking to be vaccinated with a Pneumonia v accine can schedule an appointment for Mondays at the Ocean County Health Department through March 31st\, 2025.

\nNote: Please bring your COVID Vaccine Record Card\, ID\, and insurance card (if availa ble). The COVID-19 vaccine is available for ages 6 months and older\, who have not received the updated 2024-25 vaccine series. Only one (1) dose of the 2024-25 series is recommended unless you and your physician have disc ussed additional vaccination needs. For COVID vaccine appointments for chi ldren younger than 5 years\, contact the Ocean County Health Department fo r our pediatric clinics on Mondays.

\nPlease be prep ared to wait for 15 minutes after your vaccine. If you are taking an antib iotic on the day of your appointment\, please reschedule your appointment.
