This community event explores the wonderfu
l world of math beyond the classroom &ndash\; with fascinating patterns\,
puzzles and questions. Members of the Department of Mathematical Sciences
will share their love and joy of mathematics through a variety of hands-on
activities for the whole family (preschool to high school!)\, including m
ath games\, puzzles\, art and more. \; \;

Department of Mathematical Sciences is committed to high-level mathema
tical research and mathematics instruction and to the values of a broad\,
interdisciplinary education\, preparing students for a variety of differen
t career goals\, including industry\, education\, and further graduate stu
dy. \; The Department is also committed to bringing together and stren
gthening the math community to increase access to math and inspire the bro
