Yarnfiti is an annual community-created art insta llation that started in 2017 to bring the fiber arts community together on a collaborative art project. \; Knitters\, crocheters\, hand sewists\ , machine sewists\, embroiderers\, and macramé\; artists/community m embers join forces to craft individual pieces that will be displayed toget her into a collective masterpiece. Each creation represents the unique con tributions of community members and reflects their stories\, experiences\, and connections. \; The project fosters collaboration and unity as pa rticipants share their skills and ideas. \; \;

This year's theme is Space. \; This month's project is stars. \; \;

Instructor will email the pattern to students prior to class.

< strong>Required Materials:

70 yards of worsted wei ght yarn (size 4). \; If you do not have worsted weight yarn\, feel fr ee to substitute with yarn size 3 to 6.
A 16" circular needle th e size recommended or 1-2 sizes smaller than the recommended needle size f or your yarn.
A set of five double pointed needles two sizes sma ller than the recommended needle size for your yarn.
