Thirteen pieces of art including masterpie ces by Rembrandt\, Vermeer\, Degas and Manet were stolen from Boston&rsquo \;s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum just after midnight on March 18\, 1990 . Join us as investigative reporter and editor Steve Kurkjian\, author of Master Thieves: The Boston Gangsters Who Pulled Off The World&rsquo\;s Greatest Art Heist\, talks about the case. Steve will discuss who di d it and why and offer his idea on how to recover these long-missing maste rpieces.

About Steve:
\nA Boston native\, Stephen Kur kjian spent nearly 40 years as an editor and reporter for The Boston G lobe before retiring in 2007. He was a founding member of The Glo be&rsquo\;s investigative Spotlight Team\, and as a reporter and late r editor of the team\, he shared in three Pulitzer Prizes and won more tha n 20 regional and national reporting awards. He also served for six years as chief of The Globe's Washington Bureau where he oversaw the wo rk of 10 reporters and covered the Justice Department and the White House. Educated in the Boston Public Schools\, Kurkjian graduated from Boston La tin School in 1962\, as well as Boston University and Suffolk Law School. He now lives in Manomet.
