</p>\n<p>Practicing yoga is important for kids for many of the same reason
s it is important for adults. Yoga helps&nbsp\;to relax\, relieve stress a
nd anxiety\, sleep better\, improve emotional regulation\, increase empath
y\, and&nbsp\;improve mood and affect. Practicing yoga with kids also teac
hes them how to be more mindful\, which happens to be just one of&nbsp\;th
e many ways in which we can teach mindfulness to kids.</p>\n<p>For childre
n in this age group\, stress is something they are only just learning abou
t\, and they often don&rsquo\;t&nbsp\;know what it is or how to handle it.
It is up to us to provide them with effective and appropriate tools to&nb
sp\;help them manage their emotions.</p>\n<p>Other benefits of yoga for th
is age group (and any age for that matter) includes the following and is n
ot&nbsp\;limited to: Improving memory and cognitive function\, improving s
 leep\, strength and breathing\, and&nbsp\;improving self-regulation\, dete
rmination and perseverance.</p>\n<p>By participating in this program\, you
