  Mindfulness (UM) system offers tailor-made meditation techniques for prac
 tice in the midst of daily life to build Concentration\, Clarity\, and Equ
 animity (CC&amp\;E\, aka mindfulness).</p>\n<p>The 8-week class comprises 
 an introduction to each UM technique\, guided meditations\, and Q&amp\;As.
  The class is well suited for both beginners and experienced practitioners
  of meditation.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>The instructor\, Martin Spiering\, PhD\, 
 is a UM-certified Level 2 Coach. He has practiced meditation for more than
  10 years and worked as a researcher and educator for more than 15 years\,
  including leading seminars and classes on meditation and philosophy of mi
 nd. UM is a secular mindfulness system developed by meditation teacher and
  research scientist Shinzen Young and is taught at many institutions. Lear

 .</p>\n<p><br />The class is usually taught while sitting in chairs\, but
