The Pathfinder Society is called upon to a id the fledgling nation of Vidrian! As the PCs sail beyond the edge of the Inner Sea and into the waters off the coast of southern Garund searching for new trade routes to connect Vidrian with new allies\, the PCs find the mselves amongst the iruxi\, a civilization of lizardfolk astrologists. Whi le the iruxi themselves seem to be likely allies\, other forces stir in th e nearby jungles\, and if the PCs hope to return north with news of a newl y charted route\, they will need to first face an ancient evil whose prese nce complicates navigating the treacherous ocean ways.

Pathfinder is a tabletop roleplaying game\
, similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Within it\, players take control of adv
enturers and embark on missions that are arbitrated by the Game Master. Ch
aracters are composed of various statistics and abilities granted by the r
ules of the game: what the characters do with these is entirely up to the
imagination of the player. Anything can be attempted! The outcome of these
actions are determined by rolling dice and the interpretation of these re
sults by the Game Master\, who -- similar to the players controlling their
own character &ndash\; controls all the supporting actors for the story.<

Pathfinder is a longstanding pastime that has many valid app
roaches and styles of gameplay. Our goal in the DGPL Pathfinder Society is
to work together to brave the myriad challenges faced by the heroes we pl
ay. Our campaign is styled as a collaborative storytelling experience in w
hich our players actively work together to complete their shared mission.<
