\nZaria travels to Greenland for inspirati on for her next body of work and to visit the fjord where she spread her m other&rsquo\;s ashes. Sonntag is the lead scientist for Operation IceBridg e\, gathering information on the ice sheet. Uncle speaks for the ice and r ecalls when his elders saw the &ldquo\;big ice&rdquo\; melting for the fir st time in the 1960s.

Taking great care to preserve its beautiful character and value as a performance venue\, we're pleased to announce the opening of a new Patagonia store in Alexandria&rsquo\;s beloved Old Town Theater at 81 5½\; King Street. It&rsquo\;s our first store in Virginia\, and we&r squo\;re really excited to join the community. We realize what it meant to see the theater close back in 2014\, but we intend to keep a lot of its e nergy alive by providing a steady stream of events\, films and presentatio ns\, as well as a gathering place to support environmental nonprofits work ing to defend clean water and air\, protect wildlife and divest from dirty technologies.
