X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Join longtime activists and collaborators
Dean Spade (Love in a F*cked Up World: How to Build Relationships\, Hook U
p\, and Raise Hell Together) and Jaime M. Grant (Polyamory For Dummies) as
they reflect upon the hundreds of conversations they've had on the road t
his year talking about their books.&nbsp\; Let's talk about love\, movemen
 t conflicts\, polyamory\, resistance\, hooking up\, activist resilience\,
pleasure\, and friendship! &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>How are you dealing with the ma
laise brought on by intensifying authoritarianism?&nbsp\; What are you doi
ng with your sense of exhaustion and isolation?&nbsp\; Come enjoy insights
\, laughter\, hip tips for survival and thrival\, and community.</p>\n<p>&
 nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<h4><strong>About the Books</strong></h4>\n<p><strong>
Polyamory for Dummies</strong>: Polyamory literally means &ldquo\;more lov
e&rdquo\;. Twenty-first century polyamory is the practice of engaging in m
ultiple intimate relationships at the same time\, with the full consent of
all partners. Polyamory For Dummies gives you the lowdown on this expansi
ve form of consensual non-monogamy\, so you can go forth and prosper in wh
atever ways you choose. This straightforward\, research-backed\, and nuanc
ed guidebook helps the poly-curious become poly-fluent.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><st
rong>Love in a F*cked-Up World</strong>: Lifelong activist and educator De
an Spade dares us to decide that our interpersonal actions are not separat
e from our politics of liberation and resistance. Many activist projects a
nd resistance groups fall apart because people treat each other poorly\, t
rying desperately to live out the cultural myths about dating and relation
ships that we are fed from an early age. How do we divest from the idea th
at one romantic partner will be the solution to all our problems? How do w
e bring our best thinking about freedom and justice into step with our des
 ires for healing and connection?&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<h4><s
trong>About the Authors and Conversation Partners</strong></h4>\n<p><stron

t of the National Transgender Discrimination Survey\, and&nbsp\;Great Sex:

the late 80s. Having survived sexist violence and anti-lesbian disownment

r peers and colleagues as a matter of survival.</p>\n<p><strong>Dean Spade

hor has requested masks to be worn. This is not mandatory but appreciated.
