 /p>\n<p><strong>About the Presenter:</strong></p>\n<p>Anne is an internati
 onally trained nurse specialized in Palliative and Oncology care. After mo
 ving to Canada in 2015\, she completed her studies in Social Service Work 
 with a specific focus on Gerontology supporting the community in Grief and
  End-of-Life Care. She is a certified Home Hospice Association Death Doula
  and has completed post-graduate studies in Thanatology at Humber College.
  Anne is a Last Aid Course Facilitator for the Canadian Hospice Palliative
  Care Association\, a committee member of the Townsend Smith Foundation an
 d also volunteers at a local hospice. In 2024\, she started her private pr
 actice Holding Space Halton. She is a well-rounded specialist in the field
  of death care\, with a blend of medical knowledge and additional training
  in psycho-social\, emotional and spiritual support for the bereaved and p
 ersons at the end of life.</p>\n<p>This presentation coincides with the <a
  href="https://www.chpca.ca/awareness/national-hospice-palliative-care-wee
 k/">National Hospice Palliative Care Week</a>&nbsp\;which occurs May 4 -10
