WinterCreek Nursery is the oldest and largest retail native plant nursery in Central Oregon. It specializes in shrubs\, forbs\, trees\, and grasses native and adapted to High Desert eco logies\, and runs an extensive in-house seed collection and propagation pr ogram to provide these plants to the community from local sources. The nur sery has recently expanded its efforts to study and spread awareness about the importance of native plants through the founding of the High Desert H orticultural Center (HDHC) - a multidisciplinary non-profit focused on bio diversity\, pollinator habitat\, resource conservation and the human envir onment.
