\nAward-winning novelist\, screenwriter\, and playwright Emma Donoghue b egan her illustrious career writing poetry at a young age. Her novel\, Room\, has sold almost three million copies. The film adaptation of the book was nominated for four Academy Awards including Best Picture\, an d Donoghue's stage adaptation was a finalist for the Carol Bolt Award for Best New Canadian Play. Her historical fiction novels\, The Wonder \;and The Pull of the Stars\, were nominated for the Scotia bank Giller Prize.
\nSarah Laing is a freelance con tributor for The Toronto Star\, The Globe and Mail\, multiple national mag azines\, and local newspapers. She writes about celebrity\, pop culture\, the house of Windsor Royal family\, and whatever else is popping up on her TikTok FYP page. She was formerly culture editor at \;ELLE Canada.
