The Runaway \;Strings \;i s an adventure-filled tale of a quartet of string instruments who run away to search for adventures to bring home to their audience by making themse lves into different forms of transportation. Young children are invited to move along to music\, listen to a story\, and watch five musicians from t he ISO perform. \;The Runaway Strings \;introduces the vi olin\, viola\, cello\, and French horn! The story highlights the concept o f \;music&rsquo\;s \;power to transport all of us. \;Musical s elections include excerpts from Grieg&rsquo\;s \;The Holberg Suite \, Tchaikovsky&rsquo\;s \;1812 Overture\, Strauss&rsquo\ ; \;Also Sprach Zarathustra \;and the traditional \;< em>Bicycle Built for Two.

\nAbout Make Music Day
\nOn Make M usic Day\, musicians of all ages and skill levels share their love of musi c with communities around the world through free music performances and ev ents on June 21. Make Music Day began in France in 1982 as the Fê\;te de la Musique and is now celebrated on the same day in more than 2\,000 c ities in 120 countries. Make Music Day made its American debut in New York in 2006. Since then\, more than 100 cities throughout the country have es tablished city-wide celebrations that provide free music-listening and mus ic-making opportunities for the community. For the third year\, Indianapol is will recognize Make Music Day as a city-wide event. Eskenazi Health is excited to once again spearhead Make Music Indy on Saturday\, June 21\, 20 25.
