  The evening starts with a 6:00 PM tour of the Shoseian Tea House and Gard
 en in Brand Park and moves to the Brand Library Recital Hall for a 7:00 PM
  screening of a film that explores the connection between Edo Period art (
 1603-1868) and the rise of twentieth century modern art. Be prepared for a
  visual feast! Ms. Hoagland will join us for a discussion after the screen
