Marianne was a graduate of Mt. Ida College\, where she majored in Fine Art s. After \;raising her family\, Marianne rediscovered her passion for painting and spent many \;years capturing the beauty of nature on canvas. Her paintings of serene scenes \;illuminated with vibrant colors were a source of personal ha ppiness and were shared only with her family and close friends. Despite re ceiving numerous requests to showcase her art\, Marianne chose to keep her artwork private. Her paintings reflect her love for nature and the beach\ , her happy places.
\nMarianne Quinn passed away on December 6\, 2024\, after a year-long bat tle with \;pancreatic cancer. In her memory and to celebrate her artistic legac y\, we are displaying her paintings at the Dedham Public Library until Apr il 4. This exhibition is a tribute to Marianne&rsquo\;s life and her remar kable ability to capture the beauty of landscapes she loved with paint.
