 ek series\, and attending Part 1 (or having a solid background in the prog

 \n<p><strong>April 7: Microsoft Excel Part 1 &ndash\; Introduction to Exce
 l<br /></strong>Learn the basics of this popular software program designed
  for storing\, organizing and manipulating data. This class will discuss t
 he parts of a spreadsheet\, including columns\, rows and cells. Participan
 ts will create a basic spreadsheet during class. You must be able to use a
  mouse and be familiar with basic computer concepts such as opening\, clos
 ing\, and&nbsp\;re-sizing&nbsp\;windows before taking this&nbsp\;class</p>
 \n<p><strong>April 14: Microsoft Excel Part 2 &ndash\; Introduction to For
 mulas &amp\; Functions<br /></strong>Learn what formulas do and how you ca
 n make your own.&nbsp\; This class will also discuss the various functions
  within Microsoft Excel and how they can be used to your benefit.&nbsp\; P
 articipants should have a basic understanding of Excel prior to taking thi
 s class.</p>\n<p><strong>April 21:&nbsp\;</strong><strong>Microsoft Excel 
 Part 3 &ndash\; Manipulation of Worksheets\, Graphs &amp\; Charts<br /></s
 trong>Using what has been learned in the previous Introductions classes\, 
 participants will learn how to get all of their data into Excel so it is o
 rganized and then make graphs or charts from that data.&nbsp\; This is an 
 advanced level class so participants should an understanding of the fundam
 entals of Excel prior to attending.</p>\n<p><strong>April 28: Microsoft Ex
 cel Part 4 &ndash\; Security &amp\; Sharing of Workbooks\, Analyzing Data 
 &amp\; Pivot Charts<br /></strong>Participants in this class will learn ho
 w to keep the data of their Workbooks secure\, especially when sharing wit
 h other collaborators or viewers.&nbsp\; This class will also go over data
  analyzation building upon the charts and graphs knowledge from previous c
 lasses.&nbsp\; Participants will finish this class learning about Pivot Ch
 arts &ndash\; when and how to use them.</p>\n<p>Bring your own laptop or d
 evice or borrow one of ours.</p>\n<p>No registration necessary but limited
  space is available\; patrons will be admitted into the program on a first
 -come-first-serve basis.</p>\n<p>This is an on-site\, in-person program. I
