\n\nRACHEL KHONG is the author of Go odbye\, Vitamin\, winner of the California Book Award for First Fiction. I n 2018\, she founded The Ruby\, a work and event space for writers and art ists in San Francisco&rsquo\;s Mission District. Her newest novel\, Real A mericans\, was a New York Times bestseller. She lives in Los Angeles.

Shruti Swamy is the author of the story collection A House Is a Bod y\, and a novel\, The Archer. She has received grants from the National En dowment for the Arts\, Elizabeth George Foundation\, the San Francisco Art s Council\, and Vassar College\, and is a 2024 Rome Prize Fellow in Litera ture. Shruti&rsquo\;s work has appeared in The Paris Review\, McSweeny's\, AFAR Magazine\, and the New York Times\, and twice won the O. Henry. Her introduction to Ursula K Le Guin&rsquo\;s masterpiece Always Coming Home a ppears in the novel&rsquo\;s 2023 reissue. She lives in San Francisco.
