  through direct instruction followed by open lab time to practice. During 
 open lab time\, students may access Fiero Code or edclub TypingClub. Careg
 ivers are required to attend the start of a session to support students lo
 gging into their desired open lab website\, until mastery is obtained. If 
 you have already created a Fiero Club or edclub account\, your child must 
 have their log-in information.</p>\n<p>Fiero Code is an online software pr
 ogram that teaches you how to code through hundreds of coding tutorials an
 d dozens of real world projects. edclub TypingClub teaches touch typing fo
 r quick and efficient typing.</p>\n<p>Skills addressed in these sessions i
 nclude: how to use a mouse\, navigate simple keyboard tasks\, learn how to
  identify an internet browser\, and log in using an email address and pass
 word. These common computer skills will help your student successfully nav
 igate school and play. Students who show mastery of a skill to our staff w
 ill earn a sticker on a gameboard.&nbsp\;A completed gameboard earns the s
 tudent a free prize from the Makerspace. You do not have to attend every s
 ession to test out of a skill and you are welcome to practice at home.</p>
