 stitches (satin stitch and long and short stitch) come together to form th
 e foundation of basic thread painting. Subtle shading and and depth can be
  achieved with a carefully planned stitch. In this class series\, students
  will create a beautiful landscape motif using thread. With a focus on sat
 in stitches\, additional stitches will also be introduced to achieve a var
 iety of textures. Classes are held on Wednesdays\, June 4-28 at 4:00 p.m.<
