 <p>Shinetra Sanders is a children's book author\, educator\, and advocate 
 for self-confidence and cultural pride. She discovered her love for readin
 g and writing at a young age\, when she won an essay contest at her school
  in the fifth grade. As a little Black girl navigating life&rsquo\;s chall
 enges\, writing became her strength. With a Master&rsquo\;s Degree in Soci
 al Work\, she now shares her passion for reading and writing in Miami-Dade
  County Public Schools\, empowering children from all backgrounds.</p>\n<p
 >Ms. Sanders wrote and self-published her first children&rsquo\;s book\, D
 ance\, Alika\, Dance for every child to remind them just how important the
 y are - hoping to inspire them to embrace their own uniqueness\, believe i
 n themselves\, and celebrate their inner beauty. She is dedicated to helpi
 ng young voices be heard\, reminding them that their thoughts and opinions
  matter.</p>\n<p>She lives with her husband and their two children in Miam
