\nRonald Doucette is a Lo udoun County attorney specializing in wills\, trusts\, and estate planning . He has been a member of the Virginia Bar since 2004 and is a member of t he Bar&rsquo\;s Trusts and Estates Section. At his firm\, Doucette Law Fir m\, PLC\, he has also practiced in the areas of business entities\, real e state and development\, and conservation easements. \;
\nPrior t o the practice of law\, he served for nine years as a vice president of th e Putnam Companies of Boston\, a national mutual fund investment-managemen t firm. In that role he represented Putnam to clients such as Merrill Lync h\, Edward Jones\, banking institutions and investment advisors. He is kno wn for his many seminars on the use of mutual funds and annuities in retir ement planning.
\nDoucette has served on boards of trustees for thre e international non-profit organizations and the Land Trust of Virginia.&n bsp\;He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Suffolk Universi ty Law School. He lives in Waterford\, Virginia\, with his wife Margot.
