 , the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research at the Allen County Public Libra
 ry will unveil a new exhibit case on display from April 1\, 2025\, through
  May 27\, 2025. Visit to reflect on the life of Mary Lincoln following the
  death of her husband\, President Abraham Lincoln. Explore a selection of 
 the collection&rsquo\;s hidden gems from the last twenty years of this for
 mer first lady&rsquo\;s life when her struggle with her mental health beca
 me apparent. Notable items featured in this exhibit include legal document
 s from her &ldquo\;insanity&rdquo\; trial. Mary lived during a time of pro
 found social change\, including how mental health was viewed. However\, th
 e broad avenues of support that can be found today were not available in M
 ary&rsquo\;s lifetime. This exhibit is free and open to the public seven d
