DESCRIPTION:How does art help us envision the future? Registration is open
  for EXTENDED BLOOM\, an interactive performance by D.C.-based artist Arma
 ndo Lopez-Bircann. .\nhttps://dclibrary.libnet.info/event/13504418

 gmented reality\, the artist will activate a harmonious existence between 
 nature and technology. Audience members participate&nbsp\;using their smar
 tphones to unlock and layer AR text and images further connecting the pres
 ent to the possible.&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />Inspired by Smithsonian artw
 orks and archival materials\, Lopez-Bircann reimagines themes explored by 
 artists notably Giacomo Balla and Pedro Friedeberg to conjure vibrant\, in
 terconnected paths for everyone.</p>\n<p>The 45-minute program on June 10 
 at 5:30 pm at&nbsp\;the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library\, the cent
 ral location of the DC Public Library\,&nbsp\;is free. This program is pre
 sented by&nbsp\;DC Public Library&nbsp\;and the Archives of American Art w
 ith support from the Keith Haring Foundation.</p>\n<p>If you have question
