 f Law.</p>\n<p>The Supreme Court has issued&nbsp\;multiple&nbsp\;rulings t
 hroughout the 2024-2025 term that will significantly impact Americans' civ
 il rights.&nbsp\;Marc Spindelman\, the Isadore and Ida Topper Professor of
  Law at The OSU Moritz College of Law\, will facilitate a community conver
 sation around some of the blockbuster rulings\, break down the major decis
 ions made by the Court\, and help us reflect on how those decisions will s
 hape American politics and life moving forward.</p>\n<p><strong>About the 
 Presenter</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Marc Spindelman</strong>\, a nationally
  recognized legal scholar in multiple legal fields\, is the Isadore and Id
 a Topper Professor of Law at Moritz. He regularly teaches Constitutional L
 aw\, Family Law\, Constitutional Law Theory\, Advanced Family Law\, Critic
 al Theory/Critical Lawyering\, Social Justice and the Law\, and Sexual Vio
 lence and the Law. Other courses he has recently taught include The Lawyer
  in the Community and a distinctively innovative course called The Rule of
  Law in the Age of Legal Change.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In addition to teaching at
  Ohio State\, Professor Spindelman has been a visiting professor at Michig
 an Law School\, the Georgetown University Law Center\, and Northwestern&rs
 quo\;s Pritzker School of Law. He&rsquo\;s also been a faculty associate a
 t the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.&nbsp\;</
 p>\n<p>Professor Spindelman&rsquo\;s scholarship broadly focuses on questi
 ons of sexuality\, reproduction\, death\, and love as they intersect law\,
  society\, and culture. His work has been published in a range of law revi
 ews\, including Michigan Law Review\, the Emory Law Journal\, the Universi
 ty of Pennsylvania Law Review Online\, and the Georgetown Law Journal Onli
 ne. In addition to his current and recent work in critical theory and on s
 ex equality under law\, including both LGBTQIA+ rights and reproductive ju
 stice\, he is the co-author of a leading family law&nbsp\;casebook publish
 ed by Foundation University Press. He has also been quoted widely in the l
 ocal\, national\, and international press.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Before joining t
 he faculty at Ohio State\, Professor Spindelman was a Greenwall Fellow in 
 Bioethics and Health Policy at Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins Uni
 versity. While a Greenwall Fellow\, in addition to teaching at Georgetown&
 rsquo\;s law school and Johns Hopkins&rsquo\; school of public health\, he
  was a research fellow at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration&rsquo\;s C
 enter for Drug Evaluation and Research. Before that\, he was also a Regina
 ld F. Lewis Fellow at Harvard Law School\, a law clerk for Judge Alice M. 
 Batchelder on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit\, and an ass
 ociate at a Wall Street law firm.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Since 2021\, Profe
 ssor Spindelman has served as co-editor of&nbsp\;JOTWELL&rsquo\;s Equality
