Space is limited and registration is required. This workshop is designed for customers 16+ years of age. Par ticipants are encouraged to bring their own\, working\, sewing machine to the class. \; A limited number of sewing machines are available for th ose that do not have their own.

This class is open for ne w sewists looking for some guidance through their first project. This clas s will be 2 hours long and will include a crash course sewing machine less on\, practice stitching\, and then we will make an oven mitt from a second -hand quilt! This is beginner friendly and more advanced sewists are of co urse welcome!

About the Instructor: \;

\n< p>Madie is a nomadic seamstress from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She makes upcycled clothing and teaches sewing classes through her online comm unity\, on Instagram\, and in person. Madie graduated from Northern Michig an University with a degree in environmental studies and sustainability an d found her love for upcycling during her time there.
