 rk Matter</em>&nbsp\;by Xiaochuan Chloe Zheng - Graduate student at The OS
 U Department of Physics/Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics</p>
 \n<p>Dark matter makes up most of the matter in the universe\, yet we can&
 rsquo\;t see it directly. How do we study something invisible? In this tal
 k\, we will explore the evidence for dark matter\, what we&rsquo\;ve learn
 ed from its gravitational effects\, and how scientists use simulations to 
 test ideas about what dark matter might be.</p>\n<p><strong>About the pres
 enter:</strong>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Chloe Zheng is a second-year Ph.D student w
 orking under Professor Annika Peter. Her research focuses on simulating Se
 lf Interacting Dark Matter (SIDM) - a model that may help explain puzzling
  observations about galaxies and dark matter structure. Chloe is passionat
 e about combining theory\, computation\, and observation to better underst
 and the invisible structure of the universe. Beyond research\, she is comm
 itted to inclusive science communication and enjoys creating supportive le
 arning environments for students in physics.</p>\n<p><strong>If you would
