Rick Geffken has authored numerous artic les on New Jersey history and presented historical papers at the New Jerse y History &\; Historic Preservation\, the New Jersey Education Associat ion\, the New Jersey Library Association\, and the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton). He is a Trustee of the Shrewsbury Historical Society. H e formerly served on the Jersey Coast Heritage Museum at Sandlass House. H e is a currently an advisor for the Board of the Asbury Park Museum\, and a member of the Monmouth County Historical Association.
