  as your SSL opportunities!</p>\n<p>As the Founder and Creative Director o
 f IDEA\, Michael Douma combines two of his passions: fulfilling the educat
 ional promise of technology and increasing linguistic\, scientific\, and c
 ultural literacy. Michael leads IDEA in researching\, developing\, and ref
 ining mobile apps and technological tools to promote both informal and for
 mal learning.</p>\n<p>Michael's journey began with a background in neurosc
 ience and an early role at NIST\, where he conceived and launched&nbsp\;ti
 me.gov\, the first single-purpose .gov site. This experience sparked his c
 ommitment to creating digital solutions with broad social impact.</p>\n<p>
 Michael has led numerous groundbreaking initiatives\, including&nbsp\;Spic
 yNodes\, a visualization platform that attracted over 40 million users\, a
 nd&nbsp\;<a href="https://www.otherwordly.com">OtherWordly</a>\, an award-
 winning mobile game that combines word puzzles with cultural exploration.<
 /p>\n<p>Since 1999\, IDEA has worked at the intersection of technology and
  education. This nonprofit organization&rsquo\;s goal is to&nbsp\;boost li
 nguistic\, scientific\, and cultural literacy. IDEA develops&nbsp\;free an
 d affordable&nbsp\;mobile apps&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;games&nbsp\;that promote vo
 cabulary expansion\, critical engagement\, and adaptive thinking for all p
 layers\, regardless of age\, lived experience\, or ability.</p>\n<p>Questi
