Come watch the p owerful and thought-provoking film\, Don't Be Nice\, an emotional and inspiring documentary that dives deep into issues of race\, gender\, identity\, and sexual politics in America today. It&rsquo\;s more than just a competition documentary&mdash\;it&rsquo\;s also a moving look at a group of poets working through real and difficult conversations in a writer's workshop\, all while trying to make a meaningful impact through their words.
\nThis screening is especially for those who are intere sted in poetry and open to exploring complex societal topics\, including p olice brutality\, the lived experiences of Black communities\, and the cha llenges faced by the racialized 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
\nWe&rsquo\;ll have popcorn available to enjoy and after the film\, we&rsquo\;ll host a short\, participant-led discussion where you can share your thoughts or ju st listen in.
