DC Public Library and the Beyond the Book Program are thrilled to welcome DC-based illustrator DeAndra Hodge to read from her new Book "Tell Me About Juneteenth\," to be published on May 20t h\, 2025! DeAndra will read from her book in a special storytime\, followe d by a Q&\;A where kids can ask her anything they want -- about the boo k\, about Juneteenth\, about what it's like to be an illustrator. Afterwar ds\, library staff will lead participants in a hands-on craft activity ins pired by the book.
