  Presenter:</strong></p>\n<p>Aaron Rasheed is a local journalist and veter
 an. He served in the Marine Corps infantry for 12 years. After the militar
 y\, he moved to Bend\, OR\, and reinvented himself as a writer\, majoring 
 in English literature/journalism at Central Oregon Community College and O
 SU-Cascades.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Aaron has worked for several news outlets\, in
 cluding <em>The Broadside Newspaper</em>\, <em>Bend Bulletin</em>\,<em> Go
  Magazine</em>\,<em> Bend Magazine</em>\,<em> Visit Bend</em>\, and The Li
 brary of Congress Veteran History Project. He also has a Journalism Podcas
 t called "Journalistika\," which will be released on August 5th\, 2025\, o
