 Prieta earthquake\, delivering vital information in real time. He traveled
  to London to profile the British Royal Family and covered the high-stakes
  drama of the 2000 presidential election between George W. Bush and Al Gor
 e. He has attended two National party conventions. In 2018\, he was among 
 the first journalists on the ground in Paradise\, California\, chronicling
  the devastation of one of the deadliest wildfires in U.S. history. He rec
 eived accolades for his coverage of the 2017 Tubbs Firestorm in Sonoma and
  Napa counties.</em></p>\n<p><em>A pioneer in environmental journalism\, J
