\n&nbs p\;Kamia Jackson embarked on her genealogical journey in 2020\, and what s tarted as a quest to uncover her ancestry swiftly blossomed into a fervent passion. She is the Vice-President of the Indiana African American Geneal ogy Group (IAAGG)\, having previously served as the Program Committee Chai r. Kamia is dedicated to preserving African American history and volunteer s as a researcher for the Kentucky US Colored Troops Project.
\n&nbs p\;Originally from Cincinnati\, Kamia relocated to Indianapolis in the ear ly 90s. When she&rsquo\;s not doing genealogy\, she enjoys attending conce rts\, traveling\, and cherishing moments as Gigi with her beloved grandchi ldren.
