X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>The <strong>Harmony in Motion: Jazz Improv
  Workshop Series</strong> is a dynamic\, educational\, and interactive ini
tiative designed to foster a deeper connection to the art of jazz for part
icipants in the Fishers community. Building on the success of last year&rs
quo\;s program\, this expanded series combines live jazz performances\, ex
pert-led educational talks\, and hands-on improvisation workshops led by B
randon Meeks and a talented house band.</p>\n<p>The series is focused on c
reating an inclusive and welcoming environment for aspiring musicians\, mu
sic lovers\, and community members of all ages and skill levels. Each sess
ion will begin with a high-energy 30-minute live performance by the house
band\, followed by a guest speaker from Central Indiana&rsquo\;s accomplis
hed jazz community. These guest speakers will lead insightful discussions
on jazz history\, techniques\, and modern trends in the genre.</p>\n<p>A k
ey feature of this series is the interactive element\, where attendees wil
l have the opportunity to join the house band for a 45-minute live improvi
sation session\, allowing participants to experiment with their musical id
eas and gain real-world experience in jazz performance. The program is des
igned to empower individuals to explore their creativity\, build their con
fidence\, and collaborate with fellow musicians in a supportive\, open env
ironment.</p>\n<p>Everyone\, regardless of background or skill level\, wil
l feel empowered to engage with jazz music. If you have your own musical i
nstrument\, you may bring it with you. You do not need to attend all sessi
ons in the series\, but you are welcome to!</p>\n<p>Questions about this p
