 sier Book Award nominee list</a> from August 2025 to April 2026. Participa
 nts will then vote for their choice to win the award in the Intermediate c
 ategory!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Titles from the Intermediate nominee list are aime
 d at kids in Grades 3-5 (Ages 8-11). Kids are encouraged to come each mont
 h but it is not required! We will not be able to read through the entire l
 ist by April so feel free to read books that are on the list but not chose
 n for the club on your own time as well.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Books will be avai
 lable for pickup at the start of each month for new participants or at mee
 tings for participants who plan on attending the next month's meeting. Eac
 h meeting will feature a book discussion and an activity!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>T

 <strong><em>Dogtown</em></strong> by Katherine Applegate and Gennifer Chol
 denko. <strong>Registration opens on July 1st. Books will be available sta
 rting August 1st.&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p><em>Dogtown is a shelter for str
 ay dogs\, misbehaving dogs\, and discarded robot dogs\, whose owners have 
 outgrown them. Chance\, a real dog\, has been in Dogtown since her owners 
 unwittingly left her with irresponsible dog-sitters who skipped town. Meta
 l Head is a robot dog who dreams of being back in a real home.</em></p>\nh
