 Join the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council on an exploration of Tumalo Cre
 ek at Shevlin Park! We will learn all about what makes a healthy creek\, h
 one our senses while hiking around the stream\, and discover the tiny aqua
 tic creatures that live inside this fascinating habitat. Perfect for kids 
 who are curious about the outdoors and the adults that love them.</p>\n<p>
 The <strong>Upper Deschutes Watershed Council</strong> seeks to educate th
 e next generation of watershed stewards by providing programming and foste
 ring stewardship projects for students ages K - 12. Through observation-ba
 sed learning\, seasonal activities\, and tailored curricular materials\, t
 he Upper Deschutes Watershed Council helps students discover the intricaci
 es of the water cycle. Hands-on science\, math\, reading\, and creative wr
 iting activities allow students to trace the path of a water drop from the
  headwaters of the Deschutes River\, Whychus Creek\, Metolius\, Tumalo Cre
