  the essential tension to your story\, and pacing the story to maintain th
 e attention of your readers while describing a suitable setting for your s
 tory.</p>\n<p>At every meeting\, your efforts will be supported by your pe
 ers through their critiques of your story and their suggestions that will 
 improve your story. You will also develop meaningful friendships in the pr
 ocess.</p>\n<p>Your instructor will be Potomac author\, Neal P. Gillen\, w
 ho has led the Potomac Library Club for seven years\, the club members hav
