 personal narratives with exhaustive research into laws\, culture\, medicin
 e\, and history\,&nbsp\;<em>I'm Sorry for My Loss</em>&nbsp\;is a comprehe
 nsive sociological take on how pregnancy loss came to be so stigmatized an
 d why a system of more compassionate care is critical for everyone.</p>\n<
 p><em>I'm Sorry for My Loss</em>&nbsp\;is a surprising\, enraging\, and un
 usually witty effort to detangle this societal knot. Rebecca Little and Co
 lleen Long\, childhood friends who grew up to be journalists\, both experi
 enced late-term loss\, and together they take an incisive\, deeply reporte
 d look at the issue\, working to shatter taboos that have made so many pre
 gnant people feel ashamed and alone.</p>\n<p><strong>Rebecca Little</stron
 g> is an accomplished Chicago-based freelance writer and former contributi
 ng editor for<em> Chicago Magazine.</em> She has written for <em>The Chica
 go Tribune\, Chicago Parent\,</em> WBEZ\, Zagat\, Google\, <em>The Irish T
 imes</em>\, and <em>Crains</em> <em>Chicago Business</em>\, among other pu
 blications\, as well as many corporate and university clients.</p>\n<p><st
 rong>Colleen Long</strong> is a journalist based in Washington\, D.C. who 
 has covered some of the nation&rsquo\;s most important news including the 
 White House\, presidential elections\, national security and law enforceme
 nt. She has written extensively on the nationwide repercussions from the f
 all of Roe\, and on the intersection of women and the criminal justice sys
 tem including an award-winning story on prison nurseries.</p>\n<p>You can
