Join us for a special event hosted in conj unction with local historian Darrell Owens and the Friends of the Fountain and Walk (supporters of the Marin Fountain in Berkeley)! The Northbrae La nterns will return to North Berkeley after being removed over a half centu ry ago. The unveiling and lighting ceremony will be held right in front of the North Branch of the Berkeley Public Library. We'll thank the donors w ho funded the project\, go over the history of the lanterns\, the stone pi llars and other lost Northbrae art designed by John Galen Howard. Our tale nted metal master Jerry Coe may also let a folks wield a little bronze of their own with a hammer! \;
