 and Willma Reeves Endowed Chair in the Liberal Arts professor of anthropol
 ogy at St. Mary's College of Maryland\, where she researches\, teaches\, a
 nd writes about early American and Indigenous history\, archaeology\, and 
 culture. She has received recognition for her research from the Society fo
 r Historical Archaeology\, the Society for Ethnohistory\, and the William
