\nJoin filmmaker and community organizer\, Christina Rosetti\, for a short film screening of 'Dirt Pride' followed by a community conversation \;about belonging. The film cent ers queer joy and community\, separating out the trauma from queer stories . It features a group of empowered queer women and gender-nonconforming pe ople bikepacking through Washington and explores the transformative power of building queer community outside. After the short film\, the filmmaker will open things up for a brief Q&\;A before launching into a group con versation about what it means to find belonging in community. \;
\nChristina Rosetti is a queer\, Cuban-American filmmaker telling visual stories through her boutique production company\, C-Rose Media. Her creative focus is on queer folx takin g up space in the outdoors\, specifically queer amateur athletes creating joy and community in industries and environments not designed for them.&nb sp\;She is also a community organizer through her work at BendFilm\, a non-profit dedicated to celebrating and s upporting independent film and creativity here in town. \;
