Welcoming experienced and new players alik e\, we will play Dungeons &\; Dragons 5e at our Cold Spring Branch! If you don't know how to make a character\, never fear\, we will have pre-gen erated characters for you to use. If you would like to make your own chara cter\, we will be making characters and leveling up from 6 pm to around 7 pm. \nAccording to Wizards of the Coast\, the first Dungeons &\; Dragons game was playe d back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive b attles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. T his inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game\, in which playe rs are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has b ecome immensely popular over the years\, and D&\;D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy.
\nThe core of D&\;D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story toget her\, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure\, battles with deadl y foes\, daring rescues\, courtly intrigue and much more. You can also exp lore the world of Dungeons &\; Dragons through any of the novels writte n by its fantasy authors\, as well as engaging board games and immersive v ideo games. All of these stories are a part of D&\;D.
