 e. Many of these girls were orphaned or homeless\, and the institution aim
 ed to provide education and rehabilitation.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Today\, the legac
 y of the Illinois State Training School for Girls is marked by a small cem
 etery in Geneva\, where many of the girls who died during their incarcerat
